The project area is located in one of the liveliest areas of Kadıköy district in Istanbul. The Seniors Club program and the Accommodation Unit in the competition area have a structure that can interact with each other, bring the public together with the rest of the city from certain access points, and provide sheltered and controlled spaces. A social center is planned, where the elderly can participate in social life without being isolated from the society, and where they can continue their hobbies without being trapped in a closed room.

The public axis between the existing traditional building in the site and the project area to be designed, directs the pedestrian flow in and also creates a meeting and socializing space for the public, which is one of the main design approaches of the project.
